I traded away my Blizzard 603e+ PPC card (whose PPC was going largely unused but, as you can see from the pics, kicked out a lot of unwanted heat) for a very nice Phase5 Blizzard 1260 specimen. After a load of setpatch/kickstart patching and tweaking, I'm back running HivelyTracker and watching excellent 060 demos after my harrowing few hours of only having 020 and 030 machines to play with :( All is well, though, and now the underside of my prized main machine is a bleak and beautiful arctic plain of beigecasing and trapdoor...
Well in no particular order, those images plot the progression of one of my A1200s through top-mounted cooling for an extremely hot hard disk, to 8mb RAM expansion, through Blizzard 1230 acceleration, finally arriving at Phase5 PPC 603e+ 240mhz 060/50mhz.
